Riding at Dodderhill Equestrian


Here at Dodderhill Equestrian we are becoming busier by the day!

We are aiming to reach out to a variety of riders and hope we can provide a diverse range to suit.

With winter fast approaching we are excited to have upgrades to our large 60×20 indoor, flood lit arena. The kick boards are in place and mirrors are on their way!

Our regular Saturday mornings and alternate weekday riding lessons with the Dodderhill ponies are proving very popular and are suitable for all abilities for children aged 5 years and up.

Also available are adult lessons, from beginner to the more advanced catered for.

Poles and Jumping;

Pole work; 1 hour of pole work in groups of 4.
Aimed to help you and your horse create a more forward, straight position and a more confident bond between you.
Great for all levels of horses

Gridwork with Sue Parkes. Sue teaches 4, 1 hour long sessions starting from poles-2ft  upto 2ft’9. With groups of 4 riders all suited to ride together.

Showjump clinic with Caroline Webley. 3, 1 hour long sessions, maximum of 4 riders per group with jumps ranging from poles to 3ft.

Jump training with Jon Rogers. 3, 1hour long sessions, maximum of 4 riders per group with jumps ranging from poles to 3ft



Ali Lane BD coach. Clinics include; Alternate Thursdays, these 45min lessons can be either as individual or in pairs and will be tailored to suit horse and rider capabilities.

Rider biomechanics clinics with Ali Lane;  Work on alignment and symmetry in the saddle.
Improve your position and your horses way of going.

Test Riding with Jess Viney. Choose your test to ride, gain valuable feed back to practice and re ride your test.


Winter Trec;

Come along and have a go! pre book ,  2hour sessions, groups of 6. Come along and practice a course of obstacles that you may find at a competition.
